Maintenance & Mend - an Epilogue

The Maintenance & Mend session at Carl's went quite smoothly... maybe too smoothly. There were 12 members with seven Morgans in attendance but with few urgent needs.

Jeff Smith drained and refilled the fluids in the transmission and differential of his 4.\/4. Traci had the switch repaired so her driving lights would work for the first time in memory. Kevin Flynn's odometer was registering erratically, so it was removed, examined and the verdict was it needed to be sent out for repair. Finally Boyles' +4 was subjected to a complete lube job.

What has happened that there were no critical needs? Has everyone finally gotten ahead of the game and have their Morgans in good running order . . . or are the missing ones beyond salvation?

Anyway, while all enjoyed the pizza and drinks, there was time for a lot of conversation to be exchanged. With the temperatures in the mid-seventies and spring time breezes, Saturday's event was a very enjoyable day and a favorable prelude to touring East Texas in April.
