| ABCDEFG (It's expanded) All British Car Day & European Foreign Group MMCC did it again. Nine Morgans congregated at the Boyles for pre-event coordination (and semi-organization). And then it was off to the nearby show grounds at White Rock Lake Park. Later additions resulted in 11 representations of the marque, which is pretty good with only 20 believed to be in running condition by club members residing within 30 miles in the north Texas area. A semi-threatening day turned into brilliant sunshine. But still temperature was comfortable. Kip Motors and its crew have really got everything down pat and all went smoothly. Kip said the count was some 300 entries for this successful charity event. Even with 300 cars, the Morgan presentation may have been the star of the show (for those who found us). Carl brought his skeleton 3-wheeler, a '33 SS, and started it up about every 60 minutes. When he did, the crowd gathered like insects at a bug zapper. So, of course, Carl got the first place Morgan award, followed by Kevin Flynn and Traci Murphy in their matching silver and black +4s. We missed David Fixler, Jan Diehl, Joe Aid and Ted Glover, who often show their cars. Charles McGeough brought his Morgan, but parked it on a side street. (?) Past Club Presidents, Jeff Podmers and Joel Ketonen were there sans Morgans, as well as members Dick Hawkins and Ali Sheikh. So the count might have been higher. Those present were the 4/4s of J. Boyles, Smith and Harris, +4s of B. Boyles, Flener, Flynn, Nogueira, Murphy and Siegal, the roadster of McBride and the 3-wheeler of Dreher. Still another great outing.
